Sock Pairs

Sock Pairs are dyed with socks in mind. I skein and dye the yarn double-stranded to increase the likelihood of matching socks in the end. Then I separate the two strands into two skeins for your sock-making convenience. This is a hand-dyeing process, so there are no guarantees that the two skeins will be identical, but using this process they're more likely to be than otherwise. The yarn is fingering weight. It's approximately 100g / 436 yards total for the pair. It is made out of 75% superwash wool, 25% nylon for easy care, comfort, and durability. Of course, the yarn can be used for any project calling for fingering weight yarn. If you're not knitting socks and you want a uniform distribution of color through the whole project, I recommend alternating skeins every few rows. All of my yarn is dyed using professional dyes in a professional process to ensure that the yarn will be wash fast and light fast and will not fade, bleed, run, or come off on your hands.
